Membership categories reflect varying levels of participation and commitment:

Participating Members are professionals who work directly or indirectly on the conservation of manatees, dugongs, and thier habitat through research, education, management, or advocacy. Our Participating Membership includes scientists, students, & managers; writers, artists, photographers & filmmakers; and individuals working for zoos, oceanariums, governmental and non-governmental agencies, and advocacy organizations around the world. 

Supporting Members are passionate people who share our dedication to conservation of manatees, dugongs, and thier habitat around the world.  Participating Members may also Supporting Members, who contribute to projects funded or endorsed by Sirenian International through tax deductible donations to Sirenian International.  Membership donations are affordable and on a sliding scale.
